Shot this in 2006 going though some photo as I plan a trip in Upper Michigan in Oct. to shoot more waterfalls and see which falls I do not have.

    Hey Dennis,
Comp is very good...love the path of the water....does appear to need a bit more DOF or sharpening....but the sharpness of the leaves on the right may suggest more should be in focus even at f7.1! Always a fine line between wind blur and DOF for the rocks and water......I always opt for DOF.......so f16......would be a minimum.....and I would push the ISO to achieve that.

Hi Dennis, Good color along with a nicely framed image. Agree with Roman regarding the softness and also recommend a minimum of F16 on this type of subject...

I love the comp and colors. The water traces are also well rendered at 0.5s.
Another vote for f/16. The lack of sharpness is distracting.

I need to go back and re-shoot this falls as I have learned a lot in four years since I shot this in 2005

We have many waterfalls of this type in Ontario too along the Niagara Escarpment. They alway seem to have lots of greenery/shrubs around them and you did well with the framing to get a good shot Dennis.

Very nice composition, love the colors here. I also agree about more DOF and a higher ISO.
