    I like the light, pose, composition and the reflection adds to it. I might remove the sheen on the bill.

    Good clear reflections always draw my eyes to an image. I like how the beak is just away from the water, as if he's about to peck at something. Exposure looks good on a difficult character, and overall nice and sharp.

    The reflextion along with the natural pose makes this.. loved the image.. would personally try to take of those weeds.. still love it.. Congrats...

    Fine execution of a beautiful bird - captures the delicate, elegant nature of the bird very well with this pose - although I presume the American variety is just as noisy and aggressive as our European Pied Avocet.

    Nice - there is almost as much detail in the reflection as in the actual bird. Great lighting, and great job being on the right side of the bird.

    Beautiful capture in pixels ,avocets reflection is just about a perfect mirror image ,and the soft muted colours add a little something mystical to the whole image
