These 2 wild mustang stallions were having a dominance battle at sunset. I like how the backlight worked on this image

    Exposure mode: Av
    Exposure compensation: -2/3

Oh yeah! This really works for me. The action poses of the horses is very strong, which is accentuated by the back lighting. The dust kicked up by the animals only adds to the sense of action. Very dramatic confrontation & lighting. Well done.

I can see why you like it! I agree with Peter - darkening neutrals will make the horses pop a bit more from the 'haze'. maybe even run a toned-down LCE (USM 15%,25px for example)

    wish it was mine!!

Cool shot. I especially like the little dust trail coming off the hooves of the one on the left.

    Hey Dale,
Super action!!!.....and while I normally like darker neutrals......I think I like the details in the soft complimentary colors as presented. Very nicely done!

This is another beauty, Dale. A small thing, when I do a browser scroll and eliminate the slightest bit off the top where it is bright, my eye rests more easily on the action of the horses. Love the backlighting and the poses that you've captured. I hope to take one of your workshops some day.
