    I took this photo of a cedar waxwing earlier this summer. I did some curves adjustments to make it high-key, converted to B&W, and then applied a colored pencil filter to give it a sketch look. Any C&C are welcome!

    Great sketch, Christopher. Good use of the colored pencil filter for this HK. I like the composition and the diagonal perch. I might wish for just a little more definition for the outline of the waxwing on the upper right.

    Hi Christopher, nice image and application. I like the effect.

    I would suggest another possible crop option for your consideration. Cropping to the top of the branch in the LLC would improve the eye flow. Also cropping the right side would bring the image out of the current center position and into the 1/3 ROT position.

    Just another option.

    Mark nailed my thoughts re: crop exactly. Would look awesome even tighter IMHO :) Looks great as is though.
