    Default RTHB-WIng Stretch

This Rufous Tailed Hummingbird had a favorite perch near the RFDC in Panama. Every 15-20 minutes it would stretch its wings. Patience and a bit of luck paid off. Only regret is having blown greens in front of perch. C&C welcome

Very cool pose. He looks like some sort of contortionist. It looks like there is enough detail in the greens of the perch to tone them down.

Lovely focus and behaviour, Peter. I might be tempted to darken down the bright area below and in front of the bird by cloning in some of the darker greens from the BG. Definitely a nice change from the usual hummingbird image.

    Peter,

Stunning detail and color and a very cool pose. You could burn in some of the highlights in the BG to tone them down. I think the highlight on the thicker portion of the perch could stand a little burning as well. But I love it as presented. Top marks!

Wicked pose. The head and the tail are killer. What were you doing in Panama???

Evening out the BKGR and the EXP would improve an already excellent image.

Very interesting shot-grabs my eye. The area behind the head looks to be a little oversharpened.
There are some beautiful colors here.

Gorgeous shot, excellent pose, sharpness, contrast, perch and colours. I like Artie's suggestion about the BG, otherwise perfect!

Another great shot Peter. Details are near perfect, great color. While I am not anywhere close to being an expert is PS, I think you could selectively adjust the overexposed area. Just a thought.

A killer pose and the bird is super sharp.
The brightest parts in the BG are not as disturbing as bright part of the perch.
