    I had taken this backlit Egret a while ago... pretty much manipulated in ACR. Also used s/h and usm to get some of the details back. Hope you like it...

    Indranil, Beautiful HK image. I love the pose and under-wing details are great! Nice placement in the frame.Well done.

    Hi Indranil,
    I really like the placment in the frame and the light shining through the wings.....but as this is a pretty straight forward HK image......I might run another pass of sharpening on the bill/neck/head.....to snap it in.....remember....my tastes and as all art......subject to interpretation.....just giving my point of view as food for thought.

    I think Kerry mentioned that many white BG images could benefit form a small dark frame, as could this IMHO. I like the pose, and detail. A simple image, yet powerful in its right.
