    Hi David,
Nice pose, nice setting with the small stones, good looking bird and cool prey item. The catchlight seems artificial as with this light direction I would expect it to be at the top part of the eye (it looks like there is still some catchlight to work with/enhance). Also if you have it I would give it a bit more room on the right. Otherwise a very nice shot

Nice colours and action David. Now Krijn has mention the eye light it does look slightly strange to me, not saying its not natural but it just doesnt quite look right ?

    Hi David,
Have to agree on the catchlight. I love the colours of the stones - makes for a very pretty BG.
    Best,

    Hi Dave

I am very fond of dunlin and our have justed started returning in big numbers locally. Good setting on the photo with the complimentary colours and some interesting action with the bird eating the fly. I would prefer a little more room to the right. The odd low catchlight mentioned by others I have also noticed on some of the dunlin photos I took a couple of weeks back but couldn't put my finger on what was causing it.

    Cheers

    Rich
