Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800 at 610mm at f8 and 1/640 sec and ISO 800 all mounted on tripod w/ wimberly head.

I'm hoping I should be so lucky, didn't see any last year. Great action, EXP and compo. The OOF grass adds to the image.
It's going to be fun meeting you there!

Sounds like a nice little outing you had there. I like the interaction you captured. I also like the overall color tone of the image and the motion of the breeze implied by the few swaying strands of grasses.

Wondeful interaction , lovely habitat , great expo and compo
IMHO this image can take some contrast and sharpness. Dont know about colors but slight boost in saturation pops is up. Could not dare to repost , but looks good to me after adding these spices

Wow! Roman, It's amazing you were able to get so close. The interaction you captured is terrific. I'm sure this will be one of your fondest memories from that trip. Very nicely framed in the grass!

Ditto that. Lovely moment and a tad of TLC will move this to a newer level.

One of the best wolf images I have seen Roman. Excellent composition, interaction well captured.
