    Converted to B&W in silver FX. Then used topaz sketch and simplify.
    Wanted a softer look to the image but still be able to define detail. Due to the color of the flower I felt it best to make the backround a light gray.

    Super composition w/ the bud on top and the leaf at the bottom. Nice soft conversion and plenty of details .Well done.

    Beautiful image, Dave. I think you hit just the right balance between detail and softness. Love the diagonal line of the composition, and the light gray background works well.

    Dave, I love the composition . It's just the right shade and I like the detail. It makes a very elegant portrait:)

    Hey Dave, Nice job with the conversion and I think using the slightly grey BG was the way to go.....it would have blended too much otherwise. Very nice!
