THEME-High Key Poppy

I bought two bunches of poppies last weekend and they are slowly popping open. :D

I am hopeless for remembering what I did, but there were three layers. :)

Hi Akos, I also like the effects and color used. Wondering if a bit more room on the left might help the image and also lengthen the line in the upper left.

Very original HK image, Akos - not the traditional view of a brightly colored poppy. I think Dave has a good idea, and I hope you'll continue sharing as your poppies continue to bloom.

Very nice work, Akos. Love the colors and composition. Personally, I think it might be better if you removed the purple area in the ULC. I think that would concentrate more attention on the flower center.

Hey Akos,
While I really like the effect....the top part seems a bit too empty for my tastes....a crop off the ULC darker area....helps further emphasize the lines and comp.....yeah it makes an almost square crop.....but i don't get too hung up on that.
