    Some times it's great just to Photograph an ordinary bird sometimes I forget how beautiful a Gull can be.

    Canon 1Dmk2 500mm f4, Hand held from car, 1/800 @ f4 Iso 400.

    Very nice presentation. I like the exposure control and complementing foreground. Other than dark band on the top its a very nice image.

    I agreee with Sid. Very lovely presentation and Nice pose and other than the dark band there are no nits for me.

    A nice gull portrait. I think I would prefer the bird up just a bit higher and the BG a solid blue.

    The light and details are great. Another vote for cropping the dark band at the top.

    awesome light...I would also crop that brown top off
