    Taken today at the east end of the Sanibel River. Overcast sky at 2:45pm.

    EOS 40D
    400mm for 1/250 sec at f/5.6 with flash
    ISO 100

    Any comments appreciated.

    Very nice portrait and composition. The details look good, too. I might tone down the whites on the back a little and remove the spots underneath the bill and left of the chest.

    Thanks Axel... I see what you mean. Those spots near the bottom left are another one of those things that I never seem to notice until someone else points them out and then they become so obvious. It's nice having such a experienced group online. These forums are excellent. I've never seen so much nice work as I have from the contributors and moderators here....... Thanks !

    Hi Jay, Very nicely done. Excellent COMP and use of flash. Perfect head angle. The blue BKGR looks a little lumpy/noisy and the two white spots above the head are problematic. The one that merges quite a bit with the head would be tough to get rid of. For the lumpiness, paint a QM, invert it, put it on a layer, and do a Gaussian Blur. Try about 10 pixels.
