These dewdrops were on a black-eyed susan petal. I've thought about cropping off the black area that is the flower center, but this is already a pretty large crop and I kind of like the curve of the petal. Would like to hear your thoughts on the BG. Any C&C are welcome!

    Hi Chris,
I like the base composition...a few points to think about...I took the liberty in modifying and adjusting your image, to enhance it's beauty...I started by selectively cropping all the way around the frame to make it a tighter pano, I cloned out the lens flare on the upper left side of the frame, cloned in some texture, filling in the black spots around the leaf, and adjusted the mid-tones and the black point. I increased the contrast and saturation a little and selective sharpened the water droplets...and ran a low level pass of noise reduction...see if this presents best to you...

Thanks Gus and Al! I'll try the suggested changes.

Al, I don't remember for sure, but I think this was taken at least close to the minimum focusing distance, which is .4 in. for my camera when in super macro mode. I think that part of the problem with not being able to get close enough is because the focal length on my camera is restricted to 28mm while in super macro mode.

Repost is too saturation/sharpened for my taste, but sports a better crop.
