    When he flew in it was low and slow as this was a pretty large carp and very much alive, so the wrestling match and balancing act went on for quite awhile. This is its' feeding post , but I do wish it was a tree stump or something. Taken in Cardiff, Ca. at San Elijo Lagoon. I appreciate all comments and critiques, they help.

    Chris, I love the feel of this image. Wing spread is great and the fish a huge bonus. Colors look great and nice DOF. I would run some noise reduction on the BG and maybe selectively sharpen the fish a little more. Congrats

    Very well composed and good eye contact with both the osprey and the fish. Really love the action in this image Chris. Thanks for sharing.

    Chris,

    This is terrific. Love your composition. The BG is very interesting and adds to the feel... it's a very visceral image. Wouldn't mind seeing a follow-up post of the feast.

    loved the compo, the timing is great, the bird frozen in a nautral pose with the fish makes this, congrats..
