Going thru images from last week. Here is one from Jamaica Bay... Laying between Artie and Scott. Was hope for some clear water but I was happy with some duckweed too.

    Thansk for looking,
    Lou

I prefer duckweed than clean water. There must be thousands like that! :D
Nice and sharp, perfect HA. Couldn't ask for more. Perhaps a sliver off the top?

Love this one Lou. Duckweed adds interest to the overall environment. Nice and sharp and beautiful lighting. I'd prefer just a tad more room in front of the bird.

I prefer the duckweed to water as well. The colors are outstanding and really compliment your bird. If you have the room, I think I would place the bird a bit more to the right of the frame and give it a bit more room on the left.

I think the green actually shows the bird's color better. This is a great shot of a difficult, fidgity little bird. I have been trying for weeks to get a shot I like. I would be very happy to get something like this. I might try uncentering the bird, but either way it's good. I love the angle and can imagine what it took to get this one! :)

Beautifully captured with a pleasing head turn and a nice low angle. The green BG adds a lovely dimension to this image. Thanks for sharing.

The surroundings is beautiful. duckweed, BG and the colors.
Very good exposure, sharpness, HA and a superd angle.
I think I would leave less room on the right and some more on the left.

Lovely image, especially like the headturn and green setting.
