    Ed asked the image to have the sun red , Julie suggested more DOF. This is another.

    Valerio, I think I understand what you are trying to do here and I admire your vision and effort but it just isn't working for me. If you like it, that's great. When I said that I would like to see the sun in yellows and oranges, I was thinking of more natural looking tones. These purple tones look totally artificial to me. I'll be interested in seeing what others have to add.

    Valerio, I'm still having an issue w/ the comp. I like the colors for an OOTB look but to me it needs to be higher in the frame and since your stem is on a slant maybe off-center your comp. Really nice second try here.

    I attached a crop (comp) that IMHO would be a lot stronger. I love the colors though, reall OOTB stuff indeed.

    Valerio, Agree with above comments and Akos crop.I might even crop a wee bit more off the bottom.Since this is OOTB the colors are subjective to the viewer. I think you have a good idea but should have zeroed in more on your center of interest.
