    I rarely post on this forum, but it's too hot to go out in the field here in S FL in mid-August, so here's an effort.
    I can't really tell you what I did because I made so many changes to the background image I couldn't keep track, and I didn't save all the layers.

    The BG is two layers, one for the sunset sky and the other the water and trees.I know I used both Viveza and Nik Color-Efex pro to achieve some of the wierd colorations. The foreground birds were a third layer of backlit egrets captured at Viera Wetlands.

    I'm interested to hear your critiques. Thanks in advance

    Susan, Where have you been hiding??!! This is fantastic! The colors ,mood and lighting are just wonderful.Very nicely done and I'm glad you dropped by.

    Beautiful image, Susan, with great effects. I think the two background layers work very well together. I like the composition and the lighting on the egrets a lot.

    Very nice image. I like the effect.

    Only minor comment is that it would be nice of the eyes were darker and more defined. Minor as noted.

    Hi Susan, Very creative and it all seems to work together.The lighting is almost mystical!

    Can you please tell me what DAP is. Googling it doesn't get me there. I'm very impressend with all your beautiful images.
