just spent a few days at Madikwe game reserve and was rewarded with some exceptional sightings... still going thru lots of images...

this image was taken when we had stopped for a sundowner... the sun had set and the dogs were still active this was hand held in very low light..

    D3 70-200mm shot at 200mm iso 1600 , f2.8 1/80....

Beauty of a blur shot Peter. (And sundowners too, now that's living!). Love how all four paws are off the ground too. Nice one!

Lovely pan blur ! Just finished reading a book on the myths and misconceptions about this species. Glad no one has called them 'dangerous' here. :-)

The wild dogs are fascinating animals and I love the action and blur you captured in this image. I would love to have seen it captured a second earlier but love this one too and would love to have this one in my files Peter. Beautiful work !!!

A great example of pan blur, with the body nice and sharp, love that D3!
    Well done Peter.

Very nice panning image of this difficult to nail subject. Galloping action is a plus. Might add a touch more canvas to the rear.

    Peter,

Another fine image, especially considering the low light. The whites have a cyan cast, easily corrected in PS.
Madikwe is the best place for wild dogs in Africa!

    Best,

    Chas
