    Default Tiger cub

This photograph was taken in Bandhavgarh National park, a few months back. This cub stopped, maybe looking at some disturbance created by the people.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 200. Full Frame

Wonderful shot Mrudul. Harshad's repost takes it to new heights. Particularly like the lighting and the use of space.

    Lovely shot.

Mrudul, I have same comments as Harshad. I would remove the noise from the BG and sharpen it more. I would also frame it a little off center to get rid of the shrub on the right (or at least discard more of it).

The reflection works well for me as does the catchlight in the eye. The light is good too.

BTW, what was the shutter speed and aperture?

Harshad thanks for the repost. I think I uploaded a higher size image so the s/w resized it due to which it lost some sharpness.

Thanks all, appreciate the comments and the feedback. Will keep in mind for a more off centered composition.

Nice light. I don't mind centered compositions when the reflection is included. The tigers head seems to be very near to the rule of thirds position. The only change I would have done is to include a bit more space at the bottom.

    Cheers,
