    A fairly close flyby and landing. Edmonds Marsh, Edmonds, WA Taken Aug. 22, 2009 in dim but even light.

    The Heron contrast nicely with the BG just wish he was fly towards you slightly more to get a better head angle instead of away from you as he is here.

    I agree with Don about the angle but, aside from that, I really like this image. To me, you've struck a great balance between bird and habitat which informs rather than detracts. Nicely done Terry.
