Again i saw Mr Fox when shooting at Bombay Hook DE.
Any suggestions to help seperate him more from the background?
Composition? , angle? saturation? any other comments?
Thanks in advance
Bob, nice picture, couple of suggestions, need more room at the bottom and a smaller aperture might blur some of the busy BG a tad. BG is what it is, try unsat too and see what effect it has, consider all options. Overall very nice picture, love the focus in the face of the fox.
Hi Bob - agree with Jeff - You have cut the poor fellows foot off - leading rear leg.
Like the Ha and the face is nicely in focus.
keep them cominmg :)
Hi Bob,
I like the capture, but its unfortunate that the feet were cut off...also for the next one try to use a bigger aperature setting of perhas an f/5.6 or f/2.8 if your lens allows...looking forward to your next one...
Great capture. I love the alert ears and eye contact. Too bad about the foot. A little canvas bottom and left would help, but probably difficult to clone in.
Nice fox, I like the HA, the head is very sharp, but like everyone else said, the feet:( But adding Canvas like bill said would make the pic better, TFS Great job:)
Exp. and sharpness look good Bob. You must be awfully close to have part of the foot gone:) Did you zoom in too closely and miscalculate your framing? It probably all happened so quickly maybe no time to adjust. Anyways I bet you could add canvas to the bottom. Might sharpen the eyes a bit more and use the patch and clone tool to get rid of the rocks in the ULC?? Very nice.
Thanks everyone. I am planning to take a few suggestions like desaturating the background a bit and adding some canvas to the bottom. I didn't have much time to frame. They are there and then gone!
Hi Bob, I just can't get over how close you are getting to these foxes!! I like the pose and tonalities, and your focussing is excellent. Sorry about the foot - maybe you can walk around with the lens set to 70mm and zoom in to your subjects as warranted. Just a thought...
