Thought I would share a scene from Nickerson this AM. The storm surge from Bill has flooded the beach from the boardwalk to the surf line and the colony is now under 3ft of water and you must wade to a small sand bar. The birds seem to be OK for the most part.

Grace, Ted, Joe, Terry and I met Alan and Scott down there. Here is Scott and Alan leaving this morning.

Alan did a great presentation to the NWPLI club on Friday. It was quiet special as Artie and Lloyd made the scene also. We were honored to have you fine gentleman at our meeting.

I've never seen this beach that flooded, I'm glad the skimmer chicks didn't drown.

In winter that water would be chilly surely! :D But now it's summer Roman, bring out that Okanui Skirt mate. :D

Glad the birds appear to be safe. :) Good news. Is this the result of that hurricane offshore?
