Put this through NIK Polaroid transfer and some Topaz adjustments, I wanted the lichen to really stand out.

    Hi Lady Jackie,
I like the composition, image and capture...you have good color rendition and fine sharp details, and texture...I like the boarder frame that you used...it compliments your composition quite well...good show...

Outstanding! Love the colors and textures, Jackie. Like the comp, this might also work with the stick and lichen on a diagonal. Just an idea. Well done!

Hi jackie...This is a fine image. I like the textures and framing..... and the lichen stands out nicely. I agree with Chris a slight diagonal might help the composition but as is its great!. BTW what exactly is that Bg?

Bill, it is a big redwood tree that had fallen over. I placed the branch on it. Really desaturated the colours on it in raw, so I could put the focus on the lichens. Taken in Yosemite NP.
