This is the largest outdoor seated Buddha statue in the world and sits atop the mountain on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. I probably had taken this sometimes in mid 90's when I lived there. This was my favorite place for weekend hiking. Sometime the statue would be enveloped in cloud and fog. This particular image was taken with overcast sky which I scanned from an old photograph, cleaned it and applied usm. Hope you like it...

Indranil, I happen to love Buddha Statues very much-I find them very peaceful feeling. I love the angle for this and the center comp. works well. Looks great for a scanned old photo. TFS!!

Hi Indrtanil, I like the HK which puts the emphasis on the statue. Nice angle and interesting image!

Perfect angle for this, Indranil. The HK and centered comp works very well.

Very nice as presented, the white sky makes it stand out.
