    Default least sandpiper

At the area I go there have not been many out of the ordinary shorebirds this month. Here is a least sandpiper shot early in the morning. I cleaned up some of the darker spots but kept enough in for a sense of environment. The bird was in a small pool of water in the mudflats.

I like the angle, light, composition and mood and would selectively sharpen the head more.

Cute little guy, looks like a juvie. I know its head is not looking away from parallel, but I would still have preferred a better HA in this case. Good low angle and subtle light. I agree a bit more sharpening to the face would be good.

I like the Pose, light and Comp. The darker Mud? adds a lot.
On my monitor it seems a bit soft.

Thanks for the comments. There seems to be a consensus here. :) I will go back and sharpen it some.
