    Default Wasp in flight

    Hi,

Taking advantage of a Wasp invasion in my backyard I have been playing them yesterday. I use the same technique we use for hummingbird. In this case there was 3 flashs. The background is black because I as missing one of my flash and I did not have enough light to illuminate a green cardboard. Also the light was coming form under the wasp and I think I will need to build some kind of bracket to bring at the level of the lens.

    Thanks for looking...

I'm impressed!! Nice colors and pose. Maybe a little more sharpness!

Yikes!! With a wasp invasion, I'd reach for the bug spray not the camera.

Nice work here although I agree it could be a bit sharper. But heck for a wasp in flight, this is pretty darn good!

    Hi Francis,
Agree with a hair soft but still excellent for a wasp in flight!!! I'd push the ISO on the mark 3 higher to get more SS if possible. Nice use of the 3 strobes.

Nice attempt, Francis! I think you could easily even out the lighting on the wasp with a gentle levels adjustment. You certainly are very close to perfection here!
