    Nice composition. The colors of the kingfisher makes this work very well. I like the texture and the background. Just as a suggestion you may want to try out lightening the dark band in the background; it seems to draw my attention away from the beautiful colors of the bird IMO.

    Harshad, I took the liberty of trying pp on your photo; hope you do not mind. Here is a version with a lightened up bg.... typically I create a new layer by copy, use level to lighten up and then use a soft brush with different opacity to paint over opening up the layer below accordingly. In this case I used 17-43% opacity.
