    Good shot with everything in focus! You could lift the shadows a bit and show some detail on the head and neck.

    Is this a young bird (given the color of the plumage and the black fleck remaining in the iris)?

    I don't mind the plumage. Great flight shot. I like the slight head turn. Perfect sharpness.

    Pose and processing look great to me. You made a ratty bird look good.
