Thread: D3 Service

    Default D3 Service

    Think I might have to send my D3 in for a service....
    Has happened twice now.....
    Been shooting on CH when one all of a sudden - the shutter will stay open as if the camera is in BULB mode - shutter will not close until camera is turned off.
    Anyone had any similar experiences???

    Can't say I have Lance. Looks like to a service trip to Nikon.

    yes, my wife had similar experience with her d3. since she's a cps member the turnaround time was pretty quick but it went back 3 times before they finally had to send her a new one. now she is having problems with her d700. the menus button does not work. guess that's what back up cameras are for.
