We are having a very cold and wet winter in the Pacific Northwest - at least some of the
    views offset the doldrums.

Classic winter peaks very well executed. The two oppostie sloping diagonal treed mountains add drama and layering to the image leading the viewer to the BG snow-covered peaks. I would be tempted to go with less sky and try a neutral or white point color balance to whiten up the snow though I don't necessary see a color cast. Mileage varies. I would do it and then toggle on/off and decide on what is best.

    Fine work.

Thanks very much for the input and encouragement, Robert! I played a bit with the image and decided to leave it alone. Given the pano crop, I couldn't do much with the sky without adding too much foreground.

    Terry,
The color of the snow doesn't bother me and I, for one, think the crop is really good. A touch more of the hills in the lower third might have been nice, but overall I really like this image a lot.

I would be tempted to tweak it just a bit in curves to add some separation between the hill sloping on the left and the one on the right. Here's one suggestion. I'll post the Curves dialog next.
