Yes Keith, I agree a beautiful bird, pity about the DOF on the tail @ f5.6 plus 1.4 TC I can expect it, but we cant have our cake and eat it. The highlight lower right corner on the leaf worries me, it distracts from the bird, the BG very good. Well done.

Beautiful arc of the leaf. Nice pose, background and colors. The bright LRC doesn't bother me. The bird seems to be lacking detail - OOF, motion blur or noise reduction? Congrats. JR

Hi Keith, I love the bird. With the bird angled towards you, you needed a bit less of a head turn. The brightest area on the leaf in the lrc and the bright area on the top of the head bug me a bit...

Beautiful bird. Great pose and background. I would have liked to have a bit more light on the left side. But all in all, I would be very proud of this shot.

Nice shot, I like the colors and smooth BG, agree with comments about lrc and lack of detail on the head and belly. I'd sharpen more. TFS

    Beautiful.
Nice work with the 500 and 1.4 to capture this little guy. I can see you now trying to get this guy in the frame.
