    I like the idea, head angle and composition but would tone down the bright spot in the BG since it draws too much attention. If it were mine I would clone out the vertical branch at the tip of the beak.

    Looks like a base for a Christmas card. Just replace the bright spot with some Christmas tree decoration. JR

    Lovely concept and pose. I would have liked to have seen the bottom of the nest. Agree with Axel's to two main suggestions. Could you have gotten on the other side of the nest???

    Lastly, I would do some work on the o-o-f twig in the llc. Love the look of the o-o-f pine needles.

    Thanks for the comments guys! Unfortunately, I couldn't really get to the other side, and if I did, I'm pretty sure the background would be worse. I agree that the picture would be better without the twigs, but I prefer not to remove them. Just personal preference.
