This guy/gal buzzing the colony did not make the terns and skimmers too happy. No prize was captured. The Black Backs had better luck as there were 2 or 3 juvi skimmer bodies on the beach. Just natures way.

It certainly caused a stir... Really like the wing position but I think a little too much S/H on this as it is washing some of the details.
In addition to the above comment, I would add that I wish the beak didn't merge with the far wing. If there's enough detail to crop tighter on the bird, I'd be tempted to crop.
