    Another image of the common kingfisher, this time a male.
    Got this last year....
    Just hope you guys wont get fed up with Kingfishers...:)

    Danny,

    I like your composition. Beautiful species; I could never get tired of kingfisher images. There are several hot areas on the perch, in the mossy parts, that could be darkened because I feel they take some attention away from the bird.

    Common, I wish they were that common here ! I agree with Eric about toning the perch down a bit. I really like seeing his colorful back.

    Perch noted, but does add to the composition. Lovely arrangement.

    Never get fed up with images as fine as this. Agree about the perch being toned down some.

    In addition to toning down parts of the perch (which is pretty awesome BTW), a better HA would have put this over the top. Beautiful BG, and good choice of comp.

    I like the composition, and agree about toning down the perch. Better eye contact would have really improved this image. You guys are killing me with all of these awesome Kingfisher images!

    I remember this one, great BG and light. agree about the HA.
    For me, The perch is a bit to much.

    Really nice KF. Love the lichens growing on the perch. The bird is very nice but I would lighten the face a little. Great job anyways.
