    Default A beautiful Lady

    Could make this image after studying the bird a bit, they too have their fav perch. This one's was this ant hill, so got there before sunrise and waited. she came on time for the date.

    Spec: 1/1250, F 8, ISO 400

    Canon 40D + 500mm + 1.4TC

    Sorry forgot to mention: its a Kestral Female

    Beautiful in every respect, Kiran. The tilt of her head gives a sweetness to the image.

    Apart from jokes , simply outstanding image this is , loved the details , perch , BG , HA, surreal lighting

    Knowing your subject goes a long way in bird photography - you knew what to do and it paid off. I would only eliminate the small black spot on the perch at very bottom of the frame. Very pleasing image :-)

    Kiran, excellent image. No suggestions from my end. I liked the soft light in this. Thats a Kestrel, right?

    Kiran,

    I agree with Daniel about the small black spot. For the rest it is simply fantastic. Sweet light that brought all detail out of the plumage. Well exposed, good pose and clean pleasing BG. Different perch than usual and nice composition round it up. Very well done.

    Nice planning, and quite a payoff for your work. Great pose, perch, details, and BG. Agree about removing the dark spot at the bottom of the perch.

    Your raptor images arer very well made, well done.

    Great job stalking this one out Kiran your efforts paid off in a stunning image. I love the perch and the bird looks amazing especially the eye contact and slight tilt. Great stuff!!
