    I caught these two GBH fighting to the death in Everglades NP. In the end only one bird survived.

    Well, there are only about 583 serious flaws, most I have ever seen in a sharp, well exposed amazing photograph. Do you know why the water is reddish?
    Did a gator get the dead bird?

    WOW!!! I am glad I didn't witness that or I would still be crying...

    Great action, but as Artie mentions, the background and vantage point were not the best for this.

    Hope to see you in the field again soon, it's always a treat :)

    Indeed it was a tough vantage point. Not sure why the water is reddish other than these two fought for a long time (blood?). It was a very chilling experience. No gator present while I was there. Thanks for the feedback.
