This is "Dead Man's Pass", one out of the four deadly turns on the Croton River in UpState New York...the water is ice blue and ice cold at 48 degrees F. in the summer time...:D:cool:
Hmmmm, this one has too much information for me. I love the part of the silky water, but too many rocks all different colors is distracting. Maybe toning down the light green one would help?
Hi Gus,I like your use of color and concept. I agree with Fabs about the different colors being somewhat busy. the image might look less busy without the light green lichen area. i also think the image might be more effective with more room on the right so you can see more of the turn in the flow...
To tell you the truth Akos, I really don't know if there is or not...the water has a crystal transparent ice blue color, and its always ice cold. The Croton River supplies most of the water to New York City and the surrounding towns in the UpState New York area...
Gus, this would be really nice if you made it into different images (like macros of the water in the fg as one,
the bright lichen as another, etc.). But I like it the way it is also:)
