This is one from last year. With fall quickly approaching I am starting to think about fall colors and the myriad of color palates soon to be available. This was taken on a fairly overcast day at a local place some may have heard of here in the Cleveland area (North Chagrin) where the Wood Ducks are very tame and approach sometimes to within arms length. Thanks for looking.

Nice detail and colors. There's something breaking the surface in the reflection that's a bit distracting. I was going to go to North Chagrin this morning but it's still too hot and muggy...maybe next week, but I'll definitely be there in the Fall.
Pretty good job of exposure in my opinion. However, I do agree with Aidan that it might be try to lighten the dark bits to see if you can more detail. I like the color of the water in the back ground. The pose is also nice with pleasing colors. Another vote for a bit more room in front. Certainly wish I could get that close to them here.
My favourite duck. I spent a lot of time this spring shooting these. Difficult bird to expose for sure. Exposing the darks correctly ends up blowing the beak...its that bright. I like the bowing head pose in this one a lot....and the head angle too. beautiful photo.
