Beautiful colors, BG, flower, pose, DOF...pretty much everything. You are making me jealous again. Congratulations.
Hey, Doug. Looks quite nice. I like the texture in the bird's feathers and the overall lighting looks good. I think there could be just a bit more room, especially left and top left. Instead of the zoom at 161 mm, I would have considered 149 mm.
Cheers,
Greg Basco
Wow doug.. Totally killer this... Great details, super colours, lovely pose and good details.. Congrats
This is really a special shot - just makes me realise how special it is to observe the beauty of nature.
An unusual hovering posture Doug, and I like how the edge of the wing is parallel to the tail. Lovely colours on the HB, and overall, I like the comp too. Well captured.
You catch a great moment.....killer bg,colors,pose!!!
Excellent shot Doug. Like the flower a lot, as well as the BG, the pose and colours of the bird. I wish the HA was a tiny bit more towards you or that the bird would have angled a bit more towards the viewer although on the other hand the eye contact compensates for this a bit. All in all another great hummer shot!
Great timing! The extended pose of the bird is remarkable, gives a very nice balance to the composition.

Wow, fantastic, pose especially not seen too often, altogether with the flower. I like it very much.
This is unreal Doug. Love the curved body and tail. Colors are awesome. What else? Enough said, you said that yourself mate. :)
Doug, one day when I am big I may be able to capture an image like this.
Colours, comp, detail, sharpness, BG, pose, action all great.
Great image Doug. Love the mussaseae, makes a great combination of colors here.
