    From a brief visit to Nickerson this AM. Testing out the D3 and the 300 F4 combo for flight images. Ran into Artie doing his IPT. Always good to say hello.
    800ISO F8 at 1/1250th AP
    Plus 2/3(think I should have gone to only plus 1/3???)

    I like the interaction but would have preferred some eye contact. Critiquing would be easier if you posted at 1024 pixels wide. Blacks looks a little blocked but the birds are quite small in the image; +2/3 was probably fine.

    Great interaction Joe, and both with open beaks. They seem to have been quite far away.

    Nice interaction, Agree the birds are small in the frame did you have the 1.4X TC or 300 naked?

    300 only. Didn't want to use the 1.4 as I was trying to see just how quick the AF is on the D3.
