    Default Indian Roller #2

    Hi all,

another image of my good friend "Rollie" .. this image was made just before leaving the place.. We spotted the bird on a low perch and parked the car a bit close to the bird. After giving me a couple of "oh! u again ??" stares, .. Rollie was happy to let us stay there. :):) im still dodgy with sharpening.. hope this is not overdone...C&C welcome. thanks!!

    shot with .. Canon 40D & Canon 100-400ISL lens
    Exposure: 1/800 sec.
    Aperture: f/8.0
    Focal Length: 400 mm
    Exposure: +0.35
    ISO Speed: 400

Always fun to have a repeat cooperative subject. I just wish you had pointed your camera down as I find the bird much too low in the frame. As you are still not sure about your sharpening I will say that it looks a littel overdone with some "scrunchy" effects on the plumage and some jaggies along the bill.

Good one Adi, The details are good and the High tone add wells, would tone down the sharpness and I personally feel there is too much space on top.

Nice shot Adi, Bhai! As mentioned there are some jaggies and halo's, but worth persevering.

Just needs a re-crop as there is too much on top.

I would liked to have seen more og him, as they have lovely colours. I agree with the otheres regarding the over sharpening. Keep them coming.
