    hi Kiran BHAI,
another beautiful raptor from you. I really like the erect pose of the bird. kind of a majestic feel.. and nice dual BG really isolates the bird's head from the BG. can't ask for much more.. :)
Another thought..with the bird's pose there is more room behind the head than in front of it.. Do you think adding some canvas to the left would help ?
Congrats again on the lovely image!!

How nice of this raptor to pose for you on the ground with a beautiful distant BG. Getting physically higher a couple of inches may have been an option to clear the legs a bit more (although I realize the feet were surely hidden in the grasses anyhow).

Aditya: For composition you should look at the whole subject, not just the head. In this case there is much more room in front of the face than there is behind the tail.

awesome shot bhai. picturesque setting here. nice dry bg makes htis impressive .. just wish for little more head turn towards you as for light direction would have made more impact if the head is tunred to you little bit.

Very majestic feel to this very fine image. I would lighten the eye just a bit and might look for a little more canvas on left , but just minor comments.

Mital Bhai, I prefered this head angle over the other as it was parallel to the frame and perfectly angled to the Sun.

    thanks again,

    Kiran

Exquisite detail, good setting, great BG and killer pose for this bird! Raising the camera a couple of inches, like Daniel suggested, would have made this perfect IMHO. Would love to have this in my files!

What a pose. Excellent light quality, and I really like the sharp detail and colours in this. Killer BG, and what a pity with some of the grass covering the tail. That doesnt distract from an outstanding image.

    Kiranbhai

Great shot of a majestic bird... Never could get close to them during my Kutch trip last year....

Lovely bg blur, good colors and sharp. Not much more to ask for.

If I _had_ to offer critique, I would say the bird is relatively well centered, an off center crop might be more attractive.

    Thanks for sharing.

Like this image Kiran. Is bold, has punch, good head angle and low and interesting viewpoint. Very well done.

This is such a beauty - great detail, pose, setting, sharpness, glint in the eye. I agree with trying an off-centre crop.

    Hey Kiran Bhai!
The pose is superb! While it is slightly angled away (body) the HA is more than excellent as the Eagle is directly looking down your barrel. The wing feathers appear just too sharp to me though, while the head is perfect. TFS, and good to see ya back. :D

Superb light Kiran. I like the colour and feather detail, pose and eye contact.
Not too mad about the foreground, I find it a bit distracting

The pose is regal. The low angle has done wonders here. The BG is amazing and great details. I would prefer more room on the left and a tad more above.
