    Default reddish egrets

A reddish egret was on the beach/surf looking for food minding his own business when another flew in. They were most amusing and quite comical as they sparred for a few minutes. The first held his ground and claimed his turf. The second reddish egret decided to go elsewhere and flew away.

Thomas, I like the action you captured with what looks like two young birds...I can see how this would have been amusing to watch :-)

There are a few things that could be improved here. Posting the techs would be helpful to give you advice as at first glance this image looks like it was most certainly underexposed and subsequently recovered in post-processing thus creating much noise and the darker areas. You should also be careful of accidentally cutting off limbs. I also wish there was better separation between the two as the near bird's face is somewhat lost in the far one's wing. Thanks for sharing this quirky image!

Action is great but the viewer's eye needs a place to settle. Can't seem to find one spot to look as the image is soft overall and seems very busy.
