I like the angle, light and walking pose and the disappearing shrimp adds to it. Does it need a bit CW rotation?

Perfect capture. Loved the low angle, the raised foot and the splash.

Very interesting with the shrimp jumping away. Lovely light and nice pose, eyes focused on the shrimp. Well exposed and nice low angle. I also think it need some CW rotation. Congrats.

Sweet stuff Alan. I would be pleased to get a Black Bellied Plover in any plumage. I've been having trouble finding approachable ones lately.

Does need a bit of rotation, and I might run some more NR on the BG.

    Well Done!

CW is a must IMHO. I think the action here is priceless and shows that good fieldwork and fast reflexes pay off big time. I really like this Alan, but my Q is: where is your perch? :D

Very sweet shot Alan. Good exposure and details. the shrimp is an added bonus. Not much you can do about the plumage this time of year.

Great behavioral shot Alan! Like the raised foot, focussed look of the plover, the shrimp and BG very much. I would suggest to crop it a bit from the top and rotate this CW as others have suggested already. The plumage doesn't bother me at all!

The low angle works so well here Alan. I love the posture of the birds and the soft BG. Great work!
