    Been photographing skimmers in flight for years I'm always trying for something different hope you like it.

    James, the purposeful wing clipping works fine for me. I like the bill open and head-on flight angle too. Nice work with this skimmer!

    I like the light, incoming pose, sharpness and angle. I think the crop is very interesting, I think I would like it even better without the sand in the BG.

    Nice action shot, I would prefer a tighter crop such that the lower wing is slightly clipped for some symmetry. Nice detail on the eye, I think I would look nicer with all blue BG if your ethics allow for cloning.

    Love the crop actually. I do like the inclusion of sand as it shows how low and fast (I assume fast as I have never seen one) these guys fly. Thanks for sharing.
