Took this image recently of endangered White Cheeked Gibbons @ Wellington Zoo.
Male is black @ white and female browny white.
As animals were in shade on a sunny day needed quite a bit of blue reduction.
Camera was set on sunlight !!!
Also one of my first images to use Topaz Detail ( 1/2 price special !!!!)
Details Pentax K10D with Tamron 70-300 @ 220mm.
Multi Segment metered.
1600 ISO 1/250 sec @ F8.

Looks like someone is about to get bopped on the head! Nice looking couple. With the shade and sunlight and the difference in colors between the two it sounds like some tough conditions to shoot in. Although there are a few hotspots, you did manage to retain some detail in the shaded whites. Blacks look like there's still a little color noise in there though.
