Apart from the image being sharp, how are those talons Dave. Wont get in a scrap with this FE. Brilliant posture, and love the extended legs, together with that intense concentration. If I had to be picky, I would have liked to have seen the fish.

It seems dark on my monitor too, but it is just a laptop screen. Love the pose....what talons, man. And I love the focused eye to the fish somewhere down under. Congrats.

Holy cow, the action is quite spectacular. The concentration on the eagle's face is intense, and of course the outstretched talons are very cool. My only wish is that the eagle hadn't already passed you at time of image capture.

Detail is amazing, as is the pose. Those outstretched talons are incredible! I'd like to see the frame just before this one. Better wing position and eye contact would take this image over the top. Thanks for sharing!

Very nicely done. As others have said, just a bit brighter under the wings.

    Thanks for sharing!

Lack of any (half) significant eye contact is my only negative. But from all other angles this is just incredible timing and wonderful subject well captured.

this is spectacular!! under-wings seem light enough on my screen Dave. a split second earlier for better angle or later for fish collection would have taken a sublime image to uber-sublime :)

Thanks to all for looking and for su8per comments they are appreciated.
The image before has got bad wing position, mostly covering the head and the shot following was from the back of the bird. I still have the RAW file of the preceding image but have deleted the following image.:)
