    Default Seaton Sunrise

    Hi all,

Here's a shot that I took Saturday morning, looking over the Seaton Hiking Trail.

    Rebel Xt, 24-105mm @ 24mm, ISO 100, 1/25 sec., f/14

Comments and critiques very much appreciated! Be brutal!

    Happy shooting and God bless,
    Paul

    Hey Paul,
I do like cloudscapes but they are difficult to pull off......I think you were pretty effective though and only wish you had moved the 24-135 a bit more to the right....to get the sun in the ROT line.......but there may have been something there blocking you.....so I cropped.....this eliminated the 2/3 proportions....but felt the comp was still strenghtend by moving the sun more towards that line and I didn't want to cut any more base and none off the top. Let me know what you think of the crop.

    Thanks Mr.Kurywczak!!

Thanks for the tips! There was nothing blocking me on the right, so I do have this photo:

Is this more like it, or do you think it should be moved even more to the right? I think I like it better than the crop, because I like the 2x3 ratio.

    Happy shooting and God bless,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
I might go with 1/2 off the bottom...just to keep the focus on the sky! Definitely better and works for me!

Paul, That is a really nice looking sky and your final repost does look better although your starburst lost its
    's star look.
