    This is a close-up of the emerging stamens of a large native lily that blooms in my yard.

    Hi Cheryl,
    I like the feel on this lovely composition...the exposure is good, I like the repeating vertical lines. The color rendition is good, the texture and details are superb...proud of you...:) looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    I agree with Gus, leading lines or rhythm of the lines are great. Colors are great as well.

    cheryl, this is wonderful. love the soft light and the repeating patterns. did you consider cropping a little off the left to delete the dark area in the top left corner? not sure if it is worth keeping or not. just an idea. looks like an orton treatment. like it a LOT!!

    Thanks everyone. I appreciate your kind words. Harold - I almost cropped it out but decided I wanted to leave
    as much of the stem on that stamen as possible. Maybe I should lighten that spot a bit?

    Sweet Cheryl Agree with suggestions and can add might have taken a step to the right to avoid empty spaces !! Love the feel !!!
