    Man, you've been getting some wicked action out of these hummers!! I like the shape and size of your perch...is it charred in LL? I really love the wing blur on the top bird combined with the frozen ones on lower bird...neat effect it creates.

    That's it. Image of the Week contest is over. :) Well, I don't have a vote but this is stunning.

    For the action, composition, sharpness, background, exposure... So much to love. And then, this is at ISO 1600? The dark side sure is strong...

    Thanks for the feedback! Dan, yes the perch is just a charred twig left over from the fires we had last year. I didn't want to have anything too flashy. The background is a distant Avocado grove.

    Great interaction, and good eye contact between the two. Both are sharp, and they stand out nicely against the BG. Well captured.
